Japanese Tea Virtual Tasting
Get your taste buds ready for this wonderful four part exploration of Japanese tea!
Duration: 3 1/2 hours
Location: Bicycle paths along the Lachine Canal, in Old Montreal and Downtown
This is a 15km (9.3 miles) bicycle tour.
We will email you all the details once you have booked a tour.
Explore the re-emergence of Montreal’s diverse street food scene, with an emphasis on gourmet dishes made from scratch using local, fresh products – this is more than a hot dog cart tour! Experience the ultimate meals on wheels experience: bikes and food trucks.
We ride about 15 kilometers on this tour and that includes one hill. The riding is leisurely and we’ve had people the hadn’t been on a bike in 15 or 20 years and they had a blast, but I would say that participants need to be comfortable doing physical activity over a few hours and keeping-up with the group. If a participant has trouble walking around for a couple of miles, they’ll likely find the cycling difficult too.
All of the equipment: bike, helmet, and baskets are all included in the cost of the tour.
We offer a $20 discount for those who bring a bike.
The tour runs regardless of the weather, and we have ponchos for participants. We will only cancel in the case of really extreme weather, in which case, you will be refunded.
There are bathrooms in the buildings close to food stops. Please tell your guide when you’ll be needing one and you will be directed to the closest one in the area.
Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we can accommodate your needs on most of our tours.
There is usually paid parking close by the tour starting point. The location will be emailed to you upon registration for your tour.
