Get a peak into the secret life of bees and the wonders they do for us like pollinating every tree, plant and flower within a three kilometer radius to produce vegetables, fruit, seeds and nuts. Bees are docile and vegan, unlike their carnivorous and aggressive wasp counter-parts. They also produce delicious and nourishing honey that is antibacterial and anti-oxidant. Pollination by bees accounts for a third of the plant-based food we eat and this is as real and vital in the city as outside. We will also learn about the role of bees and their social structure inside and outside of the hive. This conference about bees and dinner made with the honey from different Montreal neighbourhoods is provided by Alvéole. Alvéole provides urban beekeeping services, training and workshops as well as producing honey by neighbourhood. You will learn about bees while eating a four course meal with each course featuring a honey from a different part of Montreal! The conference is bilingual

Come "tapear", go from place to place eating Spanish tapas, Portuguese petiscos and Basque pintxos with friends. This tour brings you to three restaurants for tapas paired with carefully chosen wines, a specialized grocery store and a food production site. Meet the chefs and entrepreneurs that bring you the traditional, re-visited or Iberian-inspired delights. Stories and explanation of the food and evolution of the businesses that culminated to bring you what you are tasting to be had. Experience each establishment intimately, with privilege and an insider perspective- like being inside a tv show!

The tour lasts four hours and includes: tapas, dessert, three well-paired wines (or non-alcoholic drinks of choice), dessert, coffee, and surprise tastings at a specialty grocery store and food production site as well as surprise gifts. We will walk a few blocks to get between each site. A gastronomic guide will lead you through this rich experience for the taste buds. The cost is $160 +tx per participant. Additional drinks, celebration cakes, customized transportation, team-building activities or an end party in a bar or corporate loft are all possible for an additional cost.

Gratuities for the gastronomic guide are not included in the price, however they are for the visited establishments. *If you require a transportation option beyond bicycles, you wish to consume alcohol, a celebration cake, team-building activities, a place to have a party, all of these features are available for an additional cost.

Montreal street food emphasizes: local products, homemade from A to Z, and culinary talent. This is not your standard hotdog cart!

The tour lasts 3.5 hrs and includes a bike, helmut, panier, gastronomic guide and the tasting at 5 or 6 trucks. The cost is $150 +tx per participant. Drinks are also included. This is a heavy food tour and you will need the bike to roll you on back!

The basket will contain, be it fresh oysters, cheeses, dried sausages and in-season fruit and vegetables and send you out on the Lachine Canal with a map of romantic picnic spots and some erotic literature. We supply the basket, dishes, blanket, map, bikes, and literature.
